The best lagers made in the U.S. in 2025 have been named by the judges at The Great American Beer Festival. The festival ran Oct. 8-10 in Denver, Colorado. The festival’s competition results were announced on Saturday.
2025 GABF Awards: 273 Breweries and Cideries Awarded; Allagash & Heirloom Cider Win Big
The Brewers Association (BA) awarded 347 medals to 273 breweries and cideries Saturday during the trade group’s Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in Denver.
“Year after year, the Great American Beer Festival sets the bar for American brewing (and for the second year in a row, cidermaking),” BA competition director Chris Williams said. “The 2025 competition was no exception.
Washington and Oregon Brewers Win Big at the 2025 GABF
The 39th annual Great American Beer Festival concluded Saturday with the 2025 GABF awards ceremony. The GABF is the largest and most prestigious beer-judging competition in the nation.
