If you need an excuse to toast to something, the craft beer community just handed you one. On Saturday, Feb.21, Zwickelmania, the annual, statewide craft beer celebration hosted by the Oregon Brewers Guild, returns with fresh ways to bring beer lovers together. The name is a nod to the “zwickel,” the little German sample port on fermentation tanks that lets brewers sneak a taste straight from the source. And for one spirited day, they’re sharing that insider sip with the rest of us across the state.
